Agricultural Education

At Mr. B’s Broody Bees, Agricultural Education is all about hands-on learning that sticks. We bring real-life agriculture and pollinator science to schools, classrooms, clubs, libraries, and community spaces—making big topics like life cycles, ecosystems, and food systems easy to understand and exciting to experience. Whether we’re hatching chicks, raising butterflies, or diving into the world of honey bees, our programs are welcoming for all ages and all skill levels, with a focus on curiosity, stewardship, and building stronger connections between people, nature, and our local community.

Borrow an Incubator: Hatch Eggs in the Classroom

Bring the chicken life cycle to life—literally. We offer classroom incubator loan programs so students can observe the full journey from egg to chick, day by day. Learners track temperature and humidity, discuss embryonic development, practice responsibility through daily observation, and celebrate hatch day with a deeper understanding of where food and farming begin.

Great for: elementary–high school • STEM/Ag units • homeschool co-ops • after-school programs
Bonus: age-appropriate lessons + Q&A + safe handling expectations

Butterfly Hatching + Host Plants

Turn your classroom or program into a mini pollinator habitat. Students can raise and release butterflies while learning the complete butterfly life cycle—egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly—plus the why behind it all: host plants, nectar sources, and habitat needs. It’s a hands-on way to teach ecosystems, plant relationships, and pollinator conservation in a way kids never forget.

Includes: life cycle learning • host plant basics • pollinator-friendly planting tips
Great for: gardens • science classes • nature centers • libraries • community events
